• Francesca is quite a confident person, she speaks her mind, but also keeps to herself sometimes. In the novel she sticks up for herself against other people and tells them what she thinks, especially her family.

• Francesca is a 16 year old female. She has a typical teenage attitude and is quite stubborn and always thinks she is right.

Actions

• Most of the time the characers react to each other in a polite manner. Although there are quite a few disagreements between the characters they all get along well in the end.
• The impact this has on the story is good. Because it keeps the story interesting and your always unsure of what is going to happen next.

The film “Suddenly 30” is made in 2004 and is directed by Gary Winick. It stars Jennifer Garner and is set in
New York, 2004. 

Basically the film is about a young girl, Jenna, who turns 13 and just wishes she could be 30. On her 13th birthday she recieves some wishing dust from her best friend, she makes the wish to be “Thirty, Flirty and Thriving” and it comes true!

She wakes up in an apartment she’s never seen before, with a naked man in her shower! It is all too much for Jenna, she is only meant to be 13, and she just skipped 17 years of her life. But hang on! This is the life she had always dreamed of, she works for “POISE” magazine and has a hot boyfriend; she is “Thirty, Flirty and Thriving” and is now best friends with Lucy Whiteman, the most popular girl in school. This is the life any girl would dream of at the age of 13. 

But after a while of living the high life she realises she is a horrible and selfish person who doesn’t have any real friends. Is this the life she wants? This film is aimed at teenagers and young adults. The acting is really good, the actors adjusted really well to the parts they played in this film. It is a fun and enjoyable movie, even just watching Jenna realise how much more complicated growing up actually is. 

I found the film very fun and exciting to watch. Camera Angles, Music, Dancing and the exaggerated acting helps the main point of the film come across to the viewers in a funny and interesting way.
